Young’s modulus and internal friction of solar cell materials were evaluated using the free–free flexural vibration method. The Young’s modulus of the backsheet was about 4 GPa and was independent of vibration frequency and mode. Internal friction showed no strain-amplitude dependence but varied with vibration mode.
