The all-round shape memory effect (ARSME) occurs in TiNi sheets via constraint-aging, but is unreported in wires. Applying this treatment to TiNi wires induced a two-way shape memory effect depending on the aging strain. Although ARSME was not observed here, wire twisting was not the cause.
