The Li+ ion transfers between LixFePO4 positive electrode and C negative one with in LiPF6 liquid electrolyte by charging and discharging were observed using elastic recoil detection (ERD). In addition, it was found that the H atoms absorbed in LixFePO4 favored to be occupied at the Li substitutional sites to prevent the Li+ ion conduction.
