アンモニアは17.8wt%もの高い質量水素密度をもち、可逆的にNH₃を吸蔵可能な固体材料は水素貯蔵の観点から重要である。我々はNH₃を用いた特殊反応場における物質合成を技術基盤として、遷移金属錯体アンモニウム塩(NH₄)₂MCl₆(M=Ti, Zr, Hf)がNH₃を大量に吸蔵し、加熱により放出する挙動を報告した。本研究では、特にM = Zrの場合に着目し、その吸蔵・脱離機構を検討した。
