Call for General Presentations

 1. Submission Period

 Monday, May 12 – Friday, June 27 (by 5:00 PM)
 The deadline has been extended to Friday, July 4th, 5:00 PM. We look forward to your submissions. Please note that there will be no further extensions.

 ・The program is scheduled to be released on Monday, July 22.
 ・Abstracts will be available to registered participants on Tuesday, August 19.

2. Submission Categories

 1) Oral Presentations

Presentation: 10 minutes, followed by a 4-minute Q&A session.
・To encourage international engagement, English presentation materials are recommended, and this will be considered in award evaluations. Presentations may be given in either Japanese or English.
Slide aspect ratio: 4:3 is recommended. (16:9 is also acceptable but may appear slightly smaller when projected.)
Presenters must bring their own laptops for their presentations.
HDMI cables will be available in all presentation venues.
(Due to scheduling constraints, there will be no time allocated for test runs in the presentation rooms.)

 2) Poster Presentations

・Poster Size: Please ensure that your poster fits within the 90 cm × 210 cm display board dimensions.
・Presentation Guidelines: Presenters must stand by their posters and be available for discussion during the core time on September 5, either 1:00–2:00 PM or 2:00–3:00 PM. The assigned core time will be announced on this website by the end of July.
Posters must be removed after the session by the presenter. The organizing committee will not store or return posters.

 3. Presentation Eligibility

Presenters (speakers) must be members of the society or affiliated with a support member company or research institution.
・If you are not yet a member, you can register here  to join. Membership offers a discounted participation fee.

・Invited speakers for special lectures are exempt from this requirement. 
・The list of support members is available here.

Note: Due to pr program organization constraints, oral presentations and poster presentations may be interchanged. We appreciate your understanding. 

4. Awards

Outstanding oral presentations will be recognized with the following three awards:
Young Fellow Award (Prize: ¥50,000)
 Granted to young researchers under 40 years old (as of April 1, 2025) who submit their presentations for evaluation and demonstrate exceptional originality and excellence.
Student Encouragement Award (Prize: ¥10,000 book voucher)
 Granted to
students who submit their presentations for evaluation and demonstrate outstanding quality.

 Applicants may apply for either the Young Fellow Award or the Student Encouragement Award, but not both.

RSC Advances Award
 Granted in collaboration with the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) to young 
researchers under 40 years old (as of April 1, 2024) who submit an English-language presentation and demonstrate strong international communication skills.
 The prize includes a commemorative gift from RSC and a one-year subscription to an RSC academic journal.  

 Additionally, outstanding poster presentations will be recognized with the Poster Award:

Poster Award 
  The prize is a commemorative gift from the society. There are no age  restrictions for this award, and all submitted poster presentations are eligible for evaluation.
Submission Guidelines
  • Download the Abstract Template, available in either Japanese or English, and prepare your submission using the designated format within one page. 
  • All submissions must be made online via this website.
  • During your initial registration, you will need to create an account. Please keep track of your login ID and password.
  • If you forget your password, you can reset it via the "Forgot Password?" link on the login page.
  • Submission Confirmation

    1) After completing the abstract submission, a confirmation email including your submission ID number will be sent to your registered email address.
    2) This confirmation email is usually sent within a few minutes. If you do not receive it, please review your submission and resubmit if necessary.

  • Abstract Availability
     Submitted abstracts will be made available to registered participants starting on Tuesday, August 19.

Modifications & Deletions After Submission

・Until the submission deadline, presenters may review, modify, or withdraw their registered presentation as many times as needed.
・To access your presentation details, log in to the submission system using the login ID and password obtained during initial registration.
Important Notices
  • Please check the login page of the submission system for recommended browsers.
  • Even when using a supported browser, system compatibility may vary depending on your computer environment. If you experience difficulty submitting your abstract, please try using a different computer.
    High traffic is expected near the submission deadline, so early registration is strongly recommended.

  • The organizing committee is not responsible for errors made by the submitter. Please carefully review all details before clicking the submission button.
