Since FY2008, JpGU organized the Environmental Hazard Countermeasure Committee and tried to manage verious environmental and hazardous issues. The 2011 Off the Pacific coast of Tohoku Earthquake clearly showed us real great damages caused by conbined effect of environment and hazard. In this session, we will review our past activities, and will discuss how JpGU will manage environment and hazard in future. All the presentations will be made by invited speakers in Japan.
