This presentation proposes a Build Back Better “insurance” scheme for future wind-related disaster risk reduction, identifies and reports current progress on challenges in the proposed insurance scheme. It also introduces a simple study on the impact of the proposed insurance scheme on future wind-related disaster risk reduction in Japan.
