Sat. Jun 5, 2021 12:00 AM - 1:30 AM UTC
Ch.01 Zoom Room 01
convener:Li Lo(Department of Geosciences, National Taiwan University), Kaoru Kubota(Graduate School of Human Development and Environment, Kobe University), Chuan-Chou Shen(National Taiwan University), Yusuke Yokoyama(Atmosphere and Ocean Research Institute, University of Tokyo), Chairperson:Li Lo(Department of Geosciences, National Taiwan University), Kaoru Kubota(Graduate School of Human Development and Environment, Kobe University), Yusuke Yokoyama(Atmosphere and Ocean Research Institute, University of Tokyo), Chuan-Chou Shen(National Taiwan University)
For the sustainability of biosphere and human society, it is crucial to in-depth understand Earth's climate system changes on different timescales. Anthropogenic forcing is also strongly affecting different aspects of human living environments, natural ecological through physical and chemical climatic perturbations, especially in East Asia with swift economic takeoff in the recent decades. We welcome climate and environmental reconstructions based on natural archives, proxy data, numerical simulations on the topics of monsoon, precipitation beef shifting, typhoon, and drought histories in Quaternary and Anthropocene. atmospheric and oceanic interactions, greenhouse gases radiative forcing and anthropogenic forcing impact from regional to global are also welcomed.
