The "urban tsunami" observed in Tagajo City, Miyagi Prefecture, is believed to be observed also in major earthquakes such as the Nankai Trough. We speculated that the reason for the extensive damage to Tagajo City was due to its topography. Therefore, we thought that the simulation of various topographic features using a tsunami generator would help us to further deepen our disaster prevention measures.
