Due to the depletion of crude oil and environmental problems, non-petroleum carbon resources such as natural gas, coal, and biomass are wildly used to be converted into chemicals such as light olefins and liquid fuels via Fischer-Tropsch synthesis (FTS). In this study, SiO2-supported metal catalysts were prepared by an impregnation method. BET, XPS, and other analysis methods are used to explore the physical and chemical properties of the prepared catalyst. The catalytic performance for the direct synthesis of jet fuel from syngas with olefin additions was investigated. These results indicate that a balanced content of multi-metal/oxides improves the olefin-promoted FTS performance and jet fuel selectivity.
