The production lighter hydrocarbons from CO2 and green hydrogen is in high demand. In this work, we developed zeolitic catalysts for the selective synthesis of C3 and C4 hydrocarbons from methanol, which is a crucial reaction in the production of C3 and C4 from CO2 via methanol-to-hydrocarbon process. SSZ-13(CHA)-supported Pd and Ca as the catalysts for methanol conversion into hydrocarbon showed the highest C3+C4 selectivity, and the addition of Pd could effectively prolong the catalytic lifetime. Additionally, the formation of coke could be suppressed by adding Pd and using hydrogen atmosphere, resulting in a longer catalyst lifetime.
