High entropy alloy (HEA) nanoparticles, which contain five or more principal elements, have been attracted much attention as fascinating nanocatalysts due to their unique properties. In this study, a simultaneous reduction based on the hydrogen spillover on reducible CeO2 nanorod was used to synthesize CoNiCuZnRh HEA catalysts, which was further transformed into CoNiCuZnRh@Rh core-shell type structure by galvanic replacement. This surface composition-controlled HEA exhibited higher NO reduction activity than monometallic Rh catalyst.
