In layered double hydroxides (LDH), the anions between the layers can be easily exchanged, resulting in a wide variety of composite materials and show excellent adsorption properties. Our group has successfully synthesized Nb oxide clusters (Nb-POM) with negative charge and revealed their function as base catalysts. In this study, we realized of intercalation of Nb-POM into MgAl-based LDHs and evaluated of their gas adsorption and base catalytic activity.
