Keywords:
Spiral catalyst,Gas-film,Swirl flow
The swirl flow resulting from the shape of the spiral catalyst has the effect of reducing the gas-film resistance, thereby promoting mass diffusion and accelerating the reaction. The swirl flow effect proves beneficial not only in CO2 methanation but also in the reverse water-gas shift reaction. Specifically, Cu-Zn spiral catalysts, prepared by electroless plating method, showed high activity for this reaction and exhibited superior CO2 treatment performance under conditions of increased gas flow.
