We developed Ag-K/Al2O3 dual-functional materials (DFMs) for selective CO production via CO2 capture in the presence of O2 and reduction at 350°C. Unlike reported Cu-K/Al2O3 DFMs, which deactivate due to Cu oxidation and water formation, Ag-K/Al2O3 retains activity by maintaining its reduced state during O2 exposure. Also, the amount of CO formed was maintained even in the presence of water, demonstrating practical applicability for real exhaust conditions (low temperature, O2 presence, H2O presence).
