Ammonia is regarded as the most effective form of hydrogen storage and a carrier that can be utilized as a green fuel. Consequently, producing ammonia synthesis catalysts with exceptional performance under mild temperatures and pressures, while also being cost-effective, is of considerable significance. This work introduces a straightforward yet innovative approach to fabricating carbon-based cobalt catalysts that exhibit impressive ammonia synthesis performance and long-term stability, exceeding the capabilities of previously reported carbon or cobalt-based catalysts.
