JPEC conducted research and development on an integrated liquid synthetic fuel production process using CO2 as a feedstock from FY2020 to FY2024 as part of a NEDO-commissioned project. In this project, a simulation model was developed to evaluate the material and energy balances of the overall production process. The model was used to examine process conditions and improvement measures related to production efficiency. As a result, a prospect was established for achieving a production efficiency of 50%. This presentation reports the main results of the project, with a focus on efforts to improve production efficiency.
