In the open cleaning of asphalt tanks after heating has been stopped, there were problems such as equipment damage due to chipping work, increased repair costs, poor workability, and prolonged processes. Therefore, we devised and introduced a new method that uses chemicals to dissolve heavy oil and recover asphalt sludge, and this report introduces a case in which these problems were improved.
