For supply of large quantities of low carbon hydrogen, the “Blue Hydrogen” made from natural gas has advantages. However, there are challenges on transportation of Hydrogen and/or CO2 and thus Hydrogen is not affordable for market.
INPEX, with partner, conducts the technology development of unique blue hydrogen supply system, by using formate as transportation medium of carbon. In this session, INPEX will share the concept and technologies used in this system and its development status.
