[1F09] Chemical recycling of PET by homogeneous FeCl3-amine catalysts

We recently reported that the catalytic activity for depolymerization (transesterification) of poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) using homogeneous FeCl3 catalyst increased by addition of prescribed amines in small amounts. In this presentation, we wish to present our explored results concerning effect of amines etc. including FeCl2 as the catalyst. We will also introduce our results concerning selective chemical recycling of PET from textile wastes and PET composite materials in the symposium.
