昨今の中東情勢を背景に、日本では中東原油に代えて米国産シェール軽質原油の使用割合を高めることが検討されている。米国ではすでにメキシコ湾岸原油からシェール軽質原油への転換実績があり、本発表では当社の電解質熱力学モデルを適用した事例を紹介する。特に常圧蒸留塔の塔頂での腐食管理について当社が開発した、独自のアプローチであるIonic Dew Pointを提案し、洗浄水量・中和剤注入の最適化へ展開した事例を示す。
