Distillation processes in petrochemical industries are a major source of energy consumption, and improving energy efficiency is strongly required. In this study, we developed membrane materials based on perfluoropolymers and evaluated their separation performance for petroleum hydrocarbon mixtures. The membranes exhibited high selectivity and permeance, enabling efficient separation of hydrocarbon mixtures. These results demonstrate the potential of developed membrane technology as an energy-efficient approach for complementing and partially replacing conventional distillation.
