エネルギー産業では、設備の保全や熟練者の知見継承、安全性向上といった課題にAI活用の期待が高まっている。本発表では、マイクロソフトにおけるAI技術の進化を、研究の歩みから生成AIやCopilotへの流れとして概観する。その上で、予知保全や技術文書の知識化、脱炭素に向けた分析など、国内外のエネルギー分野の活用事例を紹介する。さらに、責任あるAIの考え方も踏まえ、IT企業の立場からエネルギー業界を見てきた視点で、技術導入を成果につなげる実装の勘所を述べる。
