「咀嚼機構の進化とロボットシミュレーション」をテーマに，進化学とロボティクスの視点から咀嚼機能をご紹介します．脊椎動物の咀嚼機構の進化について，顎関節の構造変化や聴覚機能との関連性，咀嚼の多様性を考察していただきます．また，食塊形成に着目した新たな咀嚼シミュレータの開発について，介護食品評価や咀嚼困難者の病態理解への応用を含めてお話しいただきます．補綴学の新たな視点を得る機会となれば幸いです．
