適切な口腔健康管理は、全人的な健康を支える基盤として健康長寿社会を実現する鍵となる。日本学術会議の「マスタープラン2020」では、口腔と全身の連関を解明する戦略プロジェクトが提示された。近年、医科歯科連携が進展する一方で、「脳と摂食嚥下のクロストーク」の全容解明は依然として大きな挑戦である。本シンポジウムでは、日本補綴歯科学会と日本学術会議が共催し、基礎・臨床の最前線で活躍する専門家を招聘する。最新知見を共有し、総合討論を通じて健康長寿に向けた未来の道標を導き出したい。（コーディネーター：江草 宏）
