To realize high-performance organic integrated circuits, new strategy, which does not rely on the simple miniaturization of organic transistors, is highly required. For this purpose, we have proposed to employ multivalued logic circuits based on an antiambipolar transistor (AAT). In this talk, we demonstrate a quaternary inverter operation with a double-peak AAT. The stack of two n-type channels in the AAT enabled the observation of two negative differential transconductance regions (double peaks) in the ID-VG curve, which achieved the quaternary inverter operation. We believe that our attempt leads to the development of high-performance organic integrated circuits.
