The scintillator materials used in direct dark matter (DM) search must have high light output and chemical stability. Cs3Cu2I5 (CCI) crystals were reported to have high light output (> 40,000 photons/MeV), chemically stability and low hygroscopicity. We focused on CCI crystal as a scintillator material for DM search. Although the mass of DM is unidentified, doping Cs3Cu2I5 with Li is expected to improve sensitivity to the DM with various masses of Li, Cs, Cu, and I. Thus, Cs3(Li, Cu)2I5 (CCIL) crystals were grown by the Bridgman-Stockbarger method. In this presentation, we report on the crystal growth of CCIL, its luminescence and scintillation properties.
