The understanding of photovoltaic performance and deterioration mechanism of perovskite
solar cells under high irradiance is important for practical applications. The output of
perovskite solar cells decreases with increasing light irradiance, and acceleration tests
under high intensity are important for practical use of perovskite solar cells. We measured
crystalline silicon solar cells, III-V compound solar cells, and perovskite solar cells under
high illumination to confirm their I-V characteristics and deterioration under high irradiance.
We found that even after irradiation at 10 suns, the conversion efficiency under 1 sun was
maintained during measurement for perovskite solar cells measured in this study. This
confirms that perovskite solar cells in this experimental configuration do not immediately
deteriorate even under high illumination.
