Perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have gained significant attention due to their remarkable conversion efficiency. However, their stability remains a critical challenge. The hole transport layer (HTL) plays a crucial role in PSCs, offering high mobility, suitable energy levels, and stability when utilizing inorganic materials. Unfortunately, depositing carrier transport layers directly onto the perovskite layer can be problematic with plasma processes or water-based solutions. To address this issue, bonding methods have become necessary. These techniques provide alternative approaches for connecting the inorganic HTL to the perovskite layer, overcoming deposition challenges, and enhancing the stability of PSCs.
