In this study, we measured terahertz waves generated from bulk WSe2 using terahertz time-domain spectroscopy. WSe2 is a transition metal dichalcogenide which is one of two-dimensional layered materials. As a result, we found a difference in the amount of change in peak intensity when the excitation wavelength was changed for the two peaks of the THz waveform. This is peculiar to WSe2, and it was found that the contribution of phonons independent of the current change was observed. We will discuss this in more detail.
