We engaged healthy adults aged 20 to 40 (two males and three females) as subjects, and collected time series data of glucose fluctuations using a continuous glucose monitoring device (CGM) and heart rate variability (HRV) using an electrocardiograph (ECG) during sleep, when the influences of oral intake and exercise are minimal. We performed cross-correlation analysis considering time lags for each set of data.
