Phase error suppression and wavelength insensitive characteristics are crucial for spatial and wavelength scaling in photonic circuits. To improve them, we designed and fabricated wide waveguide silicon photonics components including 90 deg bends and thermo-optic MZI switches. By employing multiple Euler bend and meandering waveguide design, we obtained low phase error and 5 times energy efficient MZI switches.
