Reservoir computing (RC), a promising paradigm in information processing, has made significant progress by exploiting the dynamics of complex computational systems. Silicon photonics (SiPh) has demonstrated such techniques, opening the door to a wide range of applications. New methods to improve the RC approach in SiPh are the implementation of multimode (MM) waveguides to achieve speckle-like responses, or the use of a ring-like configuration to achieve the memory effect. This work reports improved memory performance in the MM loop.
