There is growing interest in the Circular Economy as a way to realize a sustainable low-carbon society with harmony among economy, society, and environment. In the Circular Economy, separation and refining technologies that reuse not only elements but also functions of materials with residual value are required, i.e., the inner resource circulation loop as much as possible. In this presentation, as an example, I will introduce an example of technological development using the electric pulse method for the separation of lithium-ion batteries and solar panels.
