The applied technology of microbubbles in liquids is currently attracting a great deal of attention. In this study, we focused on a soft material used as the simplest cellular model: liposomes. We irradiated a near-infrared laser beam(λ = 808 nm) onto a gold flat film in aqueous solutions of liposome (diameter ~ 200 nm). A microbubble was generated at the focal point on the plasmon substrate immediately after the laser irradiation. Accordingly, liposomes were fused under the microbubble, forming ultralong liposome tubes with a maximum length of more than 50 μm (Kojima et al., ACS Omega, 2022). We succeeded in direct observation of this phenomenon. This is a novel phenomenon that has never been reported before. We succeeded in observing fluorescent images of this phenomenon.
