Moiré potential formed by stacking monolayers acts as periodic quantum confinement for optically generated excitons, which are expected to show long coherence time due to limited degree of freedom. However, broad emission spectra caused by inhomogeneity among moiré potentials hinder the detailed exploration of quantum coherence of the moiré system. In this study, we have demonstrated a new method of nano-fabrication to realize the optical observation of quantum coherence and interference of a single moiré exciton in twisted semiconducting heterobilayer beyond the diffraction limit of light. Such results could facilitate potential application towards quantum technologies based on moiré quantum system.
