In the terahertz band, there are many vibration modes due to intermolecular bonding, and there is the potential to directly observe intermolecular specific bonds without fluorescent molecular modification. The purpose of this study is the unlabeled detection of intermolecular specific bonds in biorelevant molecules using terahertz-band SPR in topological insulator. In this presentation, we focused on SAMs as a method of directly modifying biomolecules on the surface of topological insulator in order to take advantage of the surface sensitivity of topological insulator.
