Rise of materials informatics has brought too many candidates of functional materials to be synthesized and experimentally validated. To overcome this unbalance, one of the key techniques would be the development of an autonomous synthesis system for solid bulk materials. We have been working on building such system, and we will report our current status as well as future perspectives. In the talk, we will mainly discuss about the hardware part.
