[20p-P01-7]Study on Neutron Response of Transparent Composite Neutron Scintillator

Our research group has been developing a transparent composite scintillator based on Li glass scintillator and advancing the development of a fiber-optic-based neutron detector using it. In this study, we conducted simulations to investigate the behavior of charged particles emitted within the transparent composite scintillator. Convoluting the obtained energy deposition distribution, we found that it closely reproduced the signal pulse height distribution obtained from experiments.
