Nanonet structures based on single-layer colloidal crystals arranged by a self-organization process are periodic nanostructures with a large surface area that can be easily fabricated. We have fabricated ZnO nanonet structures using 200-nm-diameter polystyrene spheres as templates for single-layer colloidal crystals and found that their UV detection sensitivity is improved in comparison with that of thin films. In this study, we fabricated nano-net structures with different sizes to further improve the detection sensitivity and compared their performance at different operating temperatures.
