Two-dimensional hydrogen boride sheets from magnesium diboride by ion-exchange reactions contain trace amount of reactive parts that react with water. The HB sheets was treated effectively for long-term stability as the hydrogen storage material, and several preservation methods were examined. As a result, after HB sheets was dried by recting it with water, it was re-dispersed in acetonitrile and dried, and it was stable even after 9 months. It showed release characteristics.
