In this study, we focused on two Fe-based materials, an Fe plate with a BCC structure and a 42 Invar (Fe-42%Ni) plate with an FCC structure, and conducted tensile tests before and after electrochemically introducing hydrogen into the metal. Fracture surface observation by electron microscopy (SEM) and crystal structure analysis by X-ray diffraction (XRD) were used to evaluate changes in mechanical properties and embrittlement properties.
