Hydrogen embrittlement is the main cause of accidents at hydrogen stations, and there is a need to establish a hydrogen recovery method in a room temperature environment. In this study, we focused on the hydrogen recovery method by solid phase diffusion from stainless steel using Nb, because Nb has an advantage over stainless steel due to the difference in solid solubility of hydrogen. The hydrogen introduction was evaluated by X-ray diffraction (XRD).
