We have been developing educational materials using Raspberry Pi, a type of single-board computer, for application to optical experiments. In this study, we observed atomic fluorescence using Raspberry Pi. In the experiment, the fluorescence of cesium atoms can be observed using an infrared camera. Through the visualization of the phenomenon of atomic fluorescence, which is invisible to the eye, we believe that it will help junior and high school students to improve their interest in science and engineering and their spirit of inquiry.
