organic semiconductor

The development of high performance organic single-crystal field-effect transistors has recently prompted a considerable evolution with use of organic semiconductors that show a very high layered crystallinity and high mobility. These studies utilize novel solution processes in which the self-organized growth of the molecules are promoted at air-liquid interfaces with undergoing the metastable states such as higher order liquid-crystalline states. In this talk, we would like to discuss the origin, mechanism, and control methods of the self ordering of the molecules.
