We studied second harmonic generation phenomena of equilateral triangular Si nanoprisms on SiO₂ substrates. We observed the SHG behavior in the band due to magnetic dipole resonance. This phenomenon is attributed to the surface nonlinear polarization induced by the intense optical fields in the oxide layer on the Si nanoparticle.
