In recent years, magnetic skyrmion in magnetic materials have attracted much attention, but the connection between electron spin in semiconductors and skyrmion is unexplored. In the optical field, vector vortex beam (VVB) has attracted attention, and a unique spatial structure of polarization can be formed by tightly focusing the VVB. Based on the above research background, we propose to use tightly focused VVB to generate an electron spin distribution with a skyrmion structure in semiconductors.
