We proposed a novel structure of photon up-conversion solar cells based on CsPbBr3 / GaAs. The first step to achieve the fabrication of the solar cells is to optimise the morphological, optical, and crystal properties of the perovskite on GaAs substrate. In this work, we reported the effect of substrates on the properties of CsPbBr3. The different substrates including glass and i-GaAs provide different morphology and absorption spectra. We believe that such effects are caused by the crystallinity of GaAs and its wettability.
