We study and explore the two-soliton interaction in silica and chalcogenide (As2Se3) fibers. For this, we focus on two temporally separated solitons in a single-mode fiber, revealing significant modification of Kerr-induced interaction by interpulse Raman scattering. We have conducted a thorough analysis of the interplay between soliton dynamics and Raman scattering and concluded that, in less nonlinear material, the solitons propagate longer distances without any interaction with lower input power as depicted in silica and chalcogenide fibers.
