Electrochemistry is an important academic field that supports future energy management. However, since the electrochemical reaction proceeds in the nano-domain existing at the solid-liquid interface, it is extremely difficult to approach the real picture. In this study, we have achieved operando measurements of electrochemical interfaces by constructing a nonlinear optical spectroscopy system based on a high-repetition laser. We report the results obtained by second- and third-order nonlinear spectroscopy for various reaction systems including gold oxide film formation.
